"I've been training with Bec twice a week consistently for around 18 months. During the time, I have not only gotten stronger and fitter but importantly, without injury. This is despite a wide range of previous significant injuries (as well as a total knee replacement) to contend with.  Bec also works with an exceptional allied health professional to tailor programs to accommodate injuries or surgery (as was my case). In addition to not getting injured, Bec makes sure that I understand why we do the exercises the way we do. COVID-19 has meant that like everyone, my training has been impacted. Thanks to Bec's extensive experience, knowledge and ability to modify exercises and sessions to suit the environment and make great use of the limited equipment available, we have maintained consistent 2/wk quality sessions. Far from my fitness going backwards, due to the variety of my workouts, I actually feel I have improved in aspects I would otherwise not have. I cannot recommend Bec highly enough, she is flexible, reliable, diligent and has a great sense of humor – though her rep counting is highly questionable😊"

Firstly, I think it’s important to say that I am not a lifter, I’m a former distance runner and now cyclist who happens to have developed a love of lifting and the gym. 


I have been training with Bec for about 4 months now following separate chronic issues (lower back and shoulder). Prior to working with Bec I had been training regularly in a gym with weights for 12 months. For one reason or another (primarily my terrible technique) I had developed a chronic shoulder injury which required extensive rehabilitation (another story). 


Bec is extremely detail oriented and is able to see and correct poor form to not only maximise the strength and/or fitness benefit but to ensure injuries do not occur. Bec is able to not just explain and demonstrate the 'how' every movement should be executed but she is able to explain the 'why' and the 'why not'. Bec is very open that she has no interest in how many reps you can do or how heavy you can lift, her focus is on how many safe reps you can do.


Since starting with Bec I have increased my bench by nearly 20% through correct technique and meticulous/smart programming, this despite the previous shoulder problem. Bec is infinitely patient, flexible, 100% reliable and has never been late (and we train at 5am). I also have a long standing knee issue and Bec has introduced variations to exercises to ensure correct form whilst maintaining the benefits. 


Bec's style is totally authentic, subtle but highly motivating. She has an evil sense of humour (and her counting is questionable) but she will push you beyond where you think you can go; but most importantly she will do it without harming you. She will show you in her words "you are stronger than you think"


I cannot recommend Bec's highly enough, she is a credit to the industry and a master of her craft. And her hoodies are fantastic.
